Air & Moisture Barrier
The StoGuard® family of air and moisture barrier products serve as the first line of protection against moisture intrusion and air leakage and are featured in all Sto’s wall systems.
By constructing an airtight building envelope, these components function together as an air barrier and seamless moisture barrier in the wall assembly and can reduce the risk of moisture problems, such as: decay, mold, corrosion, loss of insulation value and indoor air quality. Sto offers a variety of wall membrane, sheathing joint treatments and rough opening protection solutions that can meet your needs based on climate, substrate and type of desired application.
Specialty Solutions

Sto Hurricane Impact (HI) Systems protect against hurricane and tropical storm winds, water intrusion, and wind-borne debris. All of Sto’s Hurricane Systems meet the stringent Miami-Dade County, Florida NOA criteria for impact resistance, air and water infiltration, and wind load resistance.
Our specialty systems also include solutions for soffits and ceilings, pool rooms, and a variety of finish systems for Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) and Aerated Autoclave Concrete (AAC) substrates.
